This advanced biodynamic program for practicing craniosacral therapists is taught by Emily Martin, BCST. Emily has developed her program from years of education and experience with babies, families and craniosacral therapy.
About the Course –
This three-module certificate program consists of three 3-day modules in-person in Denver.
Utilizing embodied learning experiences, advanced anatomy study, and hands-on practice, this course will explore the territories of conception, gestation, birth, and attachment to inform hands-on craniosacral with infants.
Currently, the need for this work is outpacing the number of experienced, knowledgeable practitioners. Being with Babies is an advanced course for Craniosacral Therapy professionals to gain the hands-on skills and knowledge needed to immediately add this level of support to their professional practice.
With the right tools, working with families can have positive impacts for generations. Please join us for this deep-dive into our earliest experiences!
Each module will focus on a layer of our embryonic experience to develop and build our understanding and skills to navigate this early experience. Early in our embryological development, we will build our bodies from a flat, two-sided disc of cells, to the initial three layers that will sustain our life. At this stage, these three layers are the endoderm (inner layer), mesoderm (middle layer), and ectoderm (outer layer). With our early anatomy as our guide, we will follow this journey beginning with the Endo (the inner experience) in module 1, and build on toward the development of the Meso (gestation, digestion) in module 2, coming full circle into the Ecto (development, attachment, and outer relationships) in module 3.
Each step of the way we will practice and reimagine our own journey to acknowledge and differentiate our own experiences, deepen our understanding of the experiences babies are so close to, and apply this knowledge to the care and development of infants and their families.
